How to Delete
Your Account
We're sorry to see you go. Here is how to permanently delete your account and data.
- Open the PingMee app
- Go to Settings
- Tap "Account"
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Follow the on-screen instructions

Deleting your account removes your profile, your photos, your matches and your message history. Your conversations disappear for the people you were matched with as well, and your username is retired — usernames cannot be changed or reused, so the account cannot be recovered afterwards.
This is permanent. There is no grace period and no undo, so if you only want a break, consider the alternatives below instead.
If you just want a break
You do not have to delete your account to disappear. Under Settings, Safety & Privacy, switching off "Appear in Searches" hides you from ping results entirely while keeping your profile and existing matches intact. You can turn it back on whenever you like.
If the problem is one person rather than the app, blocking them removes the match, stops them messaging you and hides you from their searches — and they are never told.
Deleting without the app installed
Deletion runs from inside the app, so if you have already uninstalled it you will need to reinstall and sign in to finish. If you cannot get back into your account at all, email support@pingmee.com from the address you signed up with and we will handle it for you.
Deleting the app from your phone on its own does not delete your account — your profile stays visible to other people until you complete the steps above.
